Pita with shrimps and strawberries

Pita with shrimps and strawberries fills Mestemacher wheat pita bread pockets with fresh handfuls of lettuce, 100g plump shrimps, sliced spring onion, and quartered strawberries, finished with a squeeze of lemon for a sweet-savory fusion bite that’s refreshing and ready in minutes.
Ingredients:
  • ½ Mestemacher pita bread pocket
  • 1 handful of lettuce
  • 100g shrimps
  • 1 spring onion
  • 4 strawberries
  • 1 slice of lemon
Directions:
  1. Cut the spring onion into small rings and the strawberries into slices.
  2. Stir together the ingredients for the dressing and put them in the pita bread pocket.
  3. Then fill the pita bread pocket with lettuce, shrimps, strawberries and spring onion and drizzle a little bit of lemon juice over the filling.
Dressing:
  • 1 tablespoon of quark
  • ½ tablespoon of ketchup
