Fruity Fitness Bread

Fruity fitness bread tops Mestemacher Fitness Bread with vibrant fruit mixes like coconut curd, orange marmalade, and berries for a sweet, energizing open-faced treat.
Ingredients:
  • 4 slices of Mestemacher Bread
  • 200 g low-fat quark
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • Juice of ½ a lime
  • 20 g cashew kernels
  • 20 g almonds
  • 100 g blueberries
  • ½ mango
  • Mint for garnishing
Directions:
  1. Stir the quark with honey and lime juice. Cover and leave to cool.
  2. Roast cashew kernels and almonds in a pan, without fat, and chop coarsely.
  3. Wash the blueberries.
  4. Peel the mango, remove the flesh from the core and dice.
  5. Spread quark on the bread slices, place the mango, blueberries, cashew kernels and almonds on them. Garnish with mint.
