Westfalian pumpernickel with cheese

Westfalian pumpernickel with cheese spreads butter on slices of Mestemacher Westfalian pumpernickel, tops with 250g cheese slices, and garnishes with green and red grapes for a simple, hearty open-face ready in minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 500 g of Mestemacher “Westfalian pumpernickel” or alternatively “Wholemeal Bread“
  • butter for spreading
  • 250 g cheese
  • green and red grapes for garnishing
Directions:
  1. Spread the bread slices with a little bit of butter.
  2. Cut the cheese into slices.
  3. Alternating, layer the bread slices with the cheese and stack
  4. Then cut the bread with topping into small triangles and garnish with grapes.
