Nut/Tomato Dream

Nut-tomato dream on Mestemacher sunflower rounds blends cream cheese infused with chopped sun-dried tomatoes and sage, topped with fresh chicory leaves for a crunchy contrast, all on hearty sunflower seed bread, yielding a simple, savory open-faced bite that’s quick to prepare and brims with Mediterranean-inspired freshness.
Ingredients:
  • Mestemacher Mixed Cereals Bread
  • 100 g cream cheese with mushroom flavour
  • 50 g dried tomatoes
  • 3 sage leaves
  • 30 g walnuts
  • 1 chicory
  • Pepper
  • 50 g butter
Directions:
  1. Cut dried tomatoes and sage into small pieces and stir with cream cheese.
  2. Remove chicory leaves from the stem.
  3. Chop the walnuts coarsely.
  4. Roast the Mestemacher Mixed Cereals Bread in butter and put chicory leaves on top of it.
  5. Put on the cheese cream and spread on the chopped walnuts and pepper.
