Fitness Bread with Blue Cheese and Figs

Fitness bread with blue cheese and figs spreads buttered Mestemacher Fitness Bread slices with tangy soft blue mold cheese, topped with fresh fig wedges and shiso cress, served alongside a honey-mustard dip for a sweet-savory contrast that’s ready in 20 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 2 slices of Mestemacher Fitness Bread
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of sweet mustard
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 100 g soft cheese with blue mould
  • 1 fig
  • Cress (e.g. Shiso cress)
Directions:
  1. Stir honey and mustard together. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. In each case, cut the bread slices in 3 pieces, spread them thinly with butter.
  3. Cut the cheese into about 12 slices, place on the bread slices.
  4. Cut the fig into six wedges and in each case put one wedge on a slice of bread.
  5. Garnish with cress and serve with honey-mustard dip.
