Laroshell was one of the brands of the “Delitzscher Schokoladenfabrik” which has been producing chocolate specialties since the turn of the 20th century, near Leipzig, Germany. In 2008, Halloren, Germany’s oldest chocolate factory, took over the Delitzscher Schokoladenfabrik, making Laroshell one of several brands still marketed successfully world-wide. Carl Brandt, Inc. offers just a small sampling of the diverse, filled-chocolate specialties produced by Laroshell. Best-sellers include the brandy beans and brandy cherries, available in two sizes each to meet everyone’s needs. Both the brandy beans and the brandy cherries are covered in bittersweet chocolate, and the brandy cherries have an actual whole cherry in the center. These pralines are a special treat for adults, and also make a unique gift item for that special someone.
