Nut-Tomato Dream on Mestemacher Sunflower Rounds

Ingredients

  • Mestemacher Sunflower Rounds
  • 3.5 oz/100 g cream cheese with mushroom flavor
  • 2 oz/50g dried tomatoes
  • 3 sage leaves
  • 1oz/30g walnuts
  • 1 chicory
  • pepper
  • 3 ⅓ tablespoons butter

Preparation

  1. Cut dried tomatoes and sage into small pieces and stir into cream cheese.
  2. Remove chicory leaves from stem.
  3. Roast Mestemacher Sunflower Rounds with butter, remove from heat. Put chicory leaves on top of each piece of bread.
  4. Top with cream cheese spread.
  5. Chop walnuts coarsely and sprinkle on top.
  6. Add pepper to taste.

Try this: Use cream cheese with herb flavor.
